Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Green Peppers
Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb of thinly sliced roast beef
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 2 large green bell peppers
- 1 medium sized onion
- 6 oz of sliced mushrooms
- 2 Tbs. butter
- 2 cloves of garlic
Directions:
- Slice peppers in half lengthwise, remove "insides"
- In a large pan melt butter and sauté the garlic, mushrooms and onions
- Preheat oven to 400°
- Slice roast beef into thin strips and add to the pan. Cook for a few more minutes
- Line the inside of each pepper with a slice of provolone cheese. Fill each pepper with the sautéed goodies. Top each pepper with another slice of provolone cheese.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes
